Saturday from 11am-8pm and Sunday from 11am-6pm. Tickets are $10 at the door or $8 if you order online. I’ll be going on Saturday at 11am. Hope to see you there!
Also taking place this weekend is The Manifesto.
The critically acclaimed Manifesto Festival Of Community & Culture is 7 days of incredible events across the city, culminating in a massive free outdoor concert at Yonge-Dundas Square in the heart of downtown Toronto.
Growing to be the largest and most unique festival of its kind in just three short years, the festival brings together hundreds of artists & performers, and thousands of spectators to showcase our city’s talented arts community and strengthen its foundations by building a collective sense of pride and possibility.
Featuring an array of events, from art exhibitions, dance competitions, workshops, free outdoor concerts, film screenings, and more, the festival combines a grassroots, community-focused essence with high production quality.
Check out their website for a full listing of events.
Tonight I will be going to the Hard Rock Cafe to see my friend’s band, Tomorrow’s Glory. They will be opening up for Mary Rose Obsession, who is having their CD release party. I’ve gone to a few of Tomorrow’s Glory’s concerts and they never disappoint!!
